STAY AWAY!!!! Staff are rude and everything is overpriced. Your not allowed to practice your short game without purchasing a rock hard bucket of balls to practice with... Who wants to do that ? I am NOT doing any damage to your grass, practicing my chip shots on my short lunch break. Never again will I give my money to a course that is so short sided and cant be friendly to a returning customer. You have lost me as a customer for life and I hope more people read this review! GO ANYWHERE ELSE especially if you want to practice and get better!

Beautiful course. Not inexpensive though. People don't seem to care for your business. Good clubhouse food.

Loved the layout and condition of the course despite having almost a foot of rain over the last month. Every hole out there is different, makes you shape shots and the greens are well bunkered. Don't be deep as a lot of greens are tipped back to front. I would say the price on the weekends is a little steep considering they don't have GPS on the carts which would make pace of play speed up, as well as give someone who's not played the course before more info.

Greens are to slow and each is a differnt speed, cut to long, sand traps don't drain water. All types of divits in the fairways and ball marks on the greens. Never seen a ranger or ground person on the course. Priced to HIGH for what you get. Poor looking club house and gas carts that were on there last leg no GPS. Great looking course and layout just like upper Michigan could be so much better, if they put back some of the money in the place. Were is all the money going? Not a place for seniors who play two to three times a week good once a summer or fall so many better place to spend your golf MONEY.

I think this place is great. It is my favorite golf course in Illinois. They made major improvement from 2 years ago green. Now they are perfect. The people that work there are wonderful and friendly. I have my son taking lessons with john Andrews who is a fantastic golf coach especially with private lessons. Anyone who doesn't like this place needs to get a life.
