People who work there are very nice, help you anyway they can. Course could be great if they put some money into it.

I played here for the first time with my brother and friends. They had been here so they knew that the course was in great shape. The round went smooth and we had a lot of fun. Definitely coming back in the summer.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The course was very wet but still playable, even for this time of the year.

Great value for a average course. Only issue is the hack golfers not replacing their divots on the greens.

I played here this past Sunday (7/23). It rained heavily throughout the week and many courses around the north suburbs had closed their course. Luckily for us, Village Green was open so we booked an early tee time and didn't think much of it. First of all, they closed off only 2 holes, but they definitely needed to close the course. Every hole in the Front 9, including hole 11 and 12, had the pleasure of smelling like actual feces. We realized why: since the course was flooded (~5-7 inches of water for most areas) it knocked over all of the Port-o-Potties into the water. Literally, the entire course is now contaminated with human feces. Imagine sitting down on the course, knowing that a few weeks ago, the entirely of hole 3 and 6 were submersed in actual human excrement. Stay away from this place if you wish to not get a horrible infection. I don't know why they didn't close the course; we felt horrible, even though the experience was horrendous, because our carts were literally tearing up whatever little grass there was on the course (we would've stayed on the cart path, but only the tee boxes had paths). For sanitary purposes, I would absolutely skip this course for all of 2017.
