I have been Disc Golfing on and off for 20 years and this is the best course I have played. It is a great combination of flat, wooded, and hillside shots. There are multiple pads and baskets for any given hole. It is 3 years old and it shows, well marked, design is well thought out, very well maintained, and there is a pro shop to purchase gear from located right at the lot. Very cool bridges, exposed limestone, and ravine. New clean bathrooms. Tops any course in the area.

best home course I can imagine

The canyons is a fantastic course. It is one of, if not the, best in the area. The park district does a great job of maintaining the course. As an extra bonus, there is a pro shop right near the parking lot that sells discs and has a lost and found.

Great disc golf course. Good variety, change in elevation, and hole types. Scenic course.

One of the top disc golf courses in the state! The city has a great crew that really cares about the course. It gets better each time I go. Seriously, just last year they added 6 new holes, numerous long teepads (all concrete), and are working on adding a few more holes plus a pro-shop/concession pavilion this spring. Great work guys!
