Always able to get a tee time.

If I could give this place 1/2 a star I would. Absolutely horrible! The place is in disrepair. The grounds look like they never get mowed. A good shot down the middle of the fairway is rewarded with grass that is higher than the actual rough. There are no signs posted to help you find the next tee location and some of the tee signs themselves are missing and yardages inaccurate. The bunkers are essentially small muddy ponds that look like they haven't been groomed since they were installed. Garbage cans were tipped and their contents were spilled at some tees. I don't ever grade a place on the quality of their pro shop but this one is a joke. Ancient equipment and accessories for sale, moldy looking apparel for sale, and a layer of dust over everything. I paid $20 to play 18 holes. I have paid less for a lot better quality, albeit shorter, holes. No matter where you hit the ball, you were playing from the rough. The only way you could tell you were on the fairway was by navigating through the decaying clumps of grass clippings scattered all around. This place is a joke. Have some respect for your business and the game of golf. Shame on you Evergreen Country Club. I will never be back and I encourage anyone reading this review to avoid this course at all costs. Save your money. Give it to a business that gives a damn.

set up a 7:30 AM tee time on a saturday. They didn't open till almost 8:00. Spent more time searching for balls around the fairway because the grass hadn't been mowed in what appeared to have been days. Due to searching, it took us over 5 hours to play, and we were unable to finish all 18 holes.

Golfed here recently as part of a 45th high school reunion. Staff at the pro shop was great. There was some construction going on, so the restaurant and lounge were closed. Facility in general is older and could use some tlc. Course was in decent shape as were the greens. Several of us needed rental clubs since we were from out of town. Rental clubs were filthy and thrown in a corner and they only had 2 full sets. We actually had to borrow someone's clubs that were for sale (shhh). I understand that maybe no one rents clubs there on a regular basis, but they should be presentable, clean and usable. If you saw these at a garage sale, you would not have bought them for $10. Other than that, a nice place to play.
