I have been playing Heather for yrs...and she's been taking some unwarranted shots.. every course in the area have been suffering . either winter damage or lack of rounds. Captains Clubs; Tee boxes, greens and traps were in poor condition last season. Shepard's Hallow, Dunham hills, all endured some set back heck, Dunham has moved tees way up. Heather is 23 for nine and a cart...that is a going rate if not below....I'm sick of people looking for cheap golf... you pay for what you get. Heather has away had the course in good to excellent condition . it's playable with long straight fairways and receptacle greens to very challenging par 5s and 3s. Surprise elevations and tricky doglegs heather has owners that care about the course and they are working to bring it back to its prominence in Michigan. Yes they have close the executive course...this is a sign ownership is focused on what is important...18 solid holes. I highly recommend you add this course to your play list. especially if you have a 'Usual Suspects" golf group like I play with. If you're bitching about price....place somewhere else...

This course has always been my preferred local destination It's nice and open, always in great shape and forgiving for the casual golfer. The relaxed atmosphere at this course makes for a wonderful afternoon of golf. Today I took my friend's 12 year old son for his first golf experience and Beth Ann in the pro shop could not be more helpful! She took time to explain the available youth program and showed a genuine interest in making sure my young friend enjoyed his day! Very much appreciated!

Best value around. Great course with a wonderful layout. The haters here are insane as this course is a true classic and is always in great shape. The staff is friendly and warm. Never had a bad experience there and the people that run the place have busted their butts for 50 years. That's love. Five stars.

Paid 25$ for late golf and that is the most I have paid for courses in area. The course itself is not well maintained and all things there were old. Staff was not polite. There were geese all over the course and pooping everywhere combined with feathers and leaves everywhere made it hard to find my ball. Course is also not well marked where to go for the nest hole and I found myself driving around looking for it. Staff told me it was a respectable place to golf which I 100% disagree with. I dressed like I normally do for golf and felt out of place thgere. I do not recommend golfing here

Good course. Relaxed and very pretty too! The new chef is awesome, if you haven't tried the food, you should.
