Although the idea of the Aqua Range is great...the facility is run down and the staff was less than enthusiastic....better to go to a REAL course and use their driving range....better range...better service...

I'm not a golfer at all, but I like coming here with friends to practice my swinging and have a good time. Nothing better than being outside and hoping for a win inside the islands. Prices vary on how many balls you want to hit. Don't be shy to bring your own golf club, but if you don't own one you can rent one from them. Just don't forget to bring your ID, they will ask you to leave it with them for the duration of your game. This is a great activity to experience with family and friends while being very fun. I would recommend anyone coming to visit the Grand Sierra Resort to visit this spot for sure.

The other review seemed to be about the hotel, as I don't know why you would talk about pillows, the comforter, and hallway lighting when describing the driving range. The Driving range is really pretty cool. I'm not Tiger Woods, but I've had a great time every time we've gone there. If you tell the guy in the shack your a local you get a break on the price of a bucket of balls (Lg is $7.50 and Med is $5.50) ***HINT*** You get almost as many in the Med bucket as the Lg. But the best part is you hit the balls into this man made lake that has 7 little islands on it. I guess if you make it onto an island you win something from a 2 liter soda to a trip to Vegas. I've never paid attention to that, I was just there to relax and hit some golf balls. During the week it's never crowded, but I haven't been there on the weekend yet so I cant say about that. There are about thirty stations or so to hit from. If you get the chance, you should go...

I am not a golfer, but camping in the RV park that right next to it makes me want to go try it out. My Son and Grandson would love it!

Probably one of the better deals for driving ranges in reno, also open late. The balls are pretty consistent with real balls.
