I was waiting on line to sign-in for golf when the individual below with the bad review came into the building. Apparently he did not have the proper credentials (county card, ID, or booked reservation - I'm not sure) to play and was enraged that he was not being allowed to play. Loud, cursing, dropping F-bombs. In over 50 years of playing golf I've never seen someone as out-of-control and inappropriate as this person. Tom - the Manager at Orchard Hills - remained professional the entire time, explaining the situation to this person, never raising his voice. Finally he was told to leave and did so with more cursing. I've played Orchard Hills many times and my experiences with Tom and his staff have been nothing but professional. This individual was obviously having a bad day but there really was no excuse for his behavior.

Been playing this course for a few years, never had a problem until I met Tom Esposito at the front desk. Completely rude and arrogant wise guy. Treated me like he was the gestapo for no reason . Not the way this sport should ever be. I've asked around on this course and was told that it's nothing new. Get rid of Tom Esposito

Nice 9 hole course. Not particularly exciting from a layout or scenery perspective but it is a great place to learn and practice your game. Very walkable which is good because the Bergen County courses really rip you off when it comes to golf carts.
