Nice dining experience. We were too early for dinner but had meals from regular menu. I had chicken Cobb salad which was very big and very good. My partner had fish n chips and a dinner salad. Both meals were affordable. Our waitress was great and wonderful views.

The location is fabulous, gorgeous views.... and I've had a few things from the lunch menu that were decent. However, we recently went there for dinner and it was a disaster. First off, don't order the macaroni & cheese appetizer unless you want Kraft boxed macaroni & cheese with a few bacon bits thrown on top. Really. I expect a little more from a golf course. Perhaps learn how to make a basic bechamel sauce, add some grated cheddar to it, cook up some real elbow macaroni. Pretty simple to make good mac & cheese. Secondly, a rare steak should be rare, meaning with pink in the middle. My "rare" steak was well done, cooked all the way through. The only thing rare about it was the supposed blue cheese butter that was to accompany it. No where to be found. The fries were good. Nice and crispy and not too greasy. The specials menu included a "fisherman's platter", which was our other entrée. OMG, I've had better at Long John Silver. Everything was from a box. Nothing handmade about it. No hand-battered fish. Tiny, cheap, greasy popcorn shrimp. Dry hush puppies. Nothing was seasoned at all. All I can say about it was it was a lot of fried "stuff", and I had major heartburn for the next 18 hours. Really sad that we probably will never go there again.

Really good food at affordable prices! I have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Talon and never had a meal that wasn't great! Service was wonderful too!

Please fix your greasy french fries and other issues so we can come 'again' and visit this lovely place. Concerned, until we hear better reviews, but want to return. Excellent view, and the location is a 10. Rachel Lee .
