Charleston National Golf Club: In addition to Rees Jones excellent design, Charleston National contains many majestic marshland views, particularly at the start and finish of this always pleasing and challenging layout. Although real estate makes its presence felt in the middle section of the course, it is generally set well enough back and doesn't interfere with enjoying this otherwise very natural and impressive golf course.

Great golf course for the money. Rees Jones laid out a beautiful course through a beautiful Marsh area. It is a very challenging course so bring your A game if you want to enjoy it.

We play here every summer when we come to Isle of Palms for our annual vacation. Always friendly staff, course is fun and challenging for us once a year golfers. Just don't play after they airate the greens. They have a pro shop, club rentals, a bar/grill and water coolers spaced out on the course.

I give this five stars purly because of how great Chase, Wright and the rest of the wonderful staff of the course are. They are very accomadating and put up with a lot from rude and unruley partons. The greens and bunkers could use a little bit of work but other than that it is a great course and well worth the price. I play there 3 to 4 times a week and it is consistantly in good shape with challenging pin placements.

I grew up on this course. It is beautiful. Go and play it and try to break par before you start making condescending comments.
