Really enjoyed playing this course today! I've read other reviews about awful fairways but hey! This is a par 3 and if you hit the greens off the T's as you should you don't have to worry about fairways! The T boxes and greens are much nicer than I anticipated and the staff is really friendly and courteous. Anyone complaining about this course, if they can't just come out here and have fun, should just stay home.

I really enjoyed my last trip to this course mostly because it wasn't very busy and we could hit a few shots to work on our short game. I never had anyone complain when I took forever to look for my nice new balls but we also paid to play around twice. It's a no frills course that's cheap and easy to practice on. Tee area was very dry to the point we stopped teeing up and just hit off the grass. To that point, ground was hard enough, we definitely felt it after 9 and we aren't old farts. That said, nothing really hazardous out there aside from thicker weeds around the fairways. Greens were a bit rough on several holes but useable. Probably the least maintained course I've played, but for the price, no regrets. I'd have given 4 stars if they served beer. :-) Even though is made a reservation, it really isn't needed. Locals come out to meet and greet, play scrambles and relax a bit. Worth the 30 minute drive. About a 2 hour total play at a mid to slow pace.

Avoid at all costs. The people there are kind, but there is no saving this plot of drain land pretending to be a golf course. The longest hole is 100 yards, and most are 80-90 yards. There is even a 77 yard hole. You can play the entire thing with a nine iron. There are 3 carts, all from 1960's and worn out, but since you are walking a quarter mile around the "course" it won't matter. No grass, no tee boxes, no fairways, just crabgrass and weeds, rocks and rutted paths. The greens aren't really greens, just mashed down painted areas with rocks, pits, and ruts in them so your ball will never track and you waste your time trying to read them when you will hit something and bounce left or right anyway. It's superbly frustrating. This course should be free, but it's actually as expensive as playing Pecan Valley just down the street. I can't explain how this place still exists, it just doesn't seem possible. The putting green and driving range up the hill aren't any better, and the minigolf course is actually the best thing about the place, and it is terrible. No amount of money can fix the course, it's just too small. Even if it were immaculate and the fairways and greens were in PGA condition, there's no hope for a course that exists on a few acres below the damn. Go anyplace else. Hell, break your clubs and develop a drinking problem. Go fishing. Anything but this.

Best place to have fun at a low cost! The ownership is fantastic and very friendly.
