Lot Six is famous for cocktails and its beautiful ceiling. But the owners don't bother to keep the online hours up to date -- I was rudely told last call was over despite arriving hours before the posted closing time. It's also full of mice. If you hit it on a good day, the drinks are exceptional (if overpriced) and you may get some delightful live music if you're lucky. But I cannot give a good review, the bad greatly outweigh the good. Halifax has better places to offer within spitting distance of Lot Six.

Great special on oysters for Happy Hour! Try the mac and cheese, burger, ribs, it's all good!! Nice atmosphere in the "study". Friendly service by Rachel. Reasonably priced! Highly recommend!

Amazing food. Sticky ribs were superbly tender and the burger was one of the most delicious ever. We missed the Sticky Date pudding as it had just finished but it is so good, one must make another visit just for that.

America has the Empire State Building, and Canada has Lot Six. At times, you may feel a little lot at this bar. However, flocks of men will approach you and take care of your jeje. Overall must visit for all, regardless of if you’re Lot or Not. True learning experience.

A great place for a quiet meal. The atmosphere is really different than most of the downtown bars. Great service, excellent meal and a bartender who can actually mix drinks which is rare in Halifax. Highly recommended.
