My boyfriend and I decided to try J. Red & Co for our anniversary. When we walked in we loved the set up and the vibe. Our waiter was extremely nice, informative and was great dealing with my boyfriends shell fish allergy (not deathly allergic) even though they serve that food. They pour you water for you right away, took our drink orders which we actually got really fast and took our food orders, we order the chicken and waffles and when we did he informed us that it was spicy and made sure we could take the heat. Nothing worst then being surprised that he too spicy for you to eat! Our food ended up taking awhile because the waffle machine decided it wasn't gonna work at that moment so to make up for it they brought us a salad free of charge! It was actually a great salad, even my boyfriend ate it and he doesn't like salads. Once we got our food it was fantastic, totally worth the wait. Half way through I saw there was sangria which I love so we ordered a pitcher, best sangria I've had so far! It was so yummy! Once we were done our food, he asked what we wanted for dessert and told us it was on the house because it was our anniversary, very thoughtful! We got the Nutella pizza since I was dying to try it and of course it was delicious. Totally worth the price and the service, this place was amazing!

My husband brought my son and I to this restaurant for my birthday tonight. The food and service was amazing! The entire staff was friendly (I loved how the waitress interacted with my son as a person, she was fantastic! - I didn't catch her name but she was blonde with a nose piercing), the restaurant was classy yet casual, and the food arrived quickly. My son who is 2, picked the mini pepperoni pizza. He loved it and ate the entire thing which is surprising, as he is in the food-picky phase of his life. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals too - I had the steak and potatoes, my husband had the Thai Fighter. Both were flavourful and cooked to perfection. What was nice too was that the chef who cooked my son's pizza came out, as my son wanted to thank him for his pizza. Really nice bunch of staff. Well done, guys, and thank you. We'll be back! :)

We visited J. Red & Co. two nights ago; it was our very first time trying this place, and we loved it. Service was excellent - both the wait staff and the hostesses were friendly, and attentive. Our waitress was conversational, made great suggestions, and was all around very good. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, and my wife ordered the Beet Burger. We ended up splitting the two and each having half of each dish. They were both so very delicious. While this weren't the absolute (#1) best Chicken and Waffles I've ever had, there were pretty damn good! It was a large serving, and every element was super tasty. The "beet meat" burger was one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had (surpassed only by a lentil burger I had once at a pub in the Danforth). Both of these entrees were enough to fill us up (with no starters), but we decided to splurge for dessert anyway. My wife really wanted to try the fruit pizza, and so we did, and it was yummy. Perhaps a little too sweet for my liking, but I'm also not one for overly sweet desserts. The fruit added some necessary tartness, but the caramelized sugar plus the powdered sugar on top, were just a little much for me. My wife loved and devoured it. I will say, the pizza crust was very good,; hot and fresh! Would love to try their savoury pizza next time.

Was just here for Mother’s Day brunch and was very disappointed. None of the meat was properly cooked (looked and tasted unsafe) and the selection was very limited. Asked them to cook our bacon a little more but it still came back uncooked. There was an omelette station but they couldn’t seem to cook it all the way through either. It was quite overpriced for what you got. Not pleased. The only saving grace was the friendly staff. Maybe lunch and dinner is better but don’t know that we would chance it.

What a great new hot spot in downtown Brampton. The food was fun, different and yummy!! Wood fired pizza was so good the crust melts in your mouth. Lemon cheesecake is to die for!! The staff is fun and super friendly. Such a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere love the decor. Definitely coming back!!
