Would give it 6 stars if that were possible. This place is not only delicious but the staff are above and beyond. Ask for a tour of the washrooms, they've got interesting artwork in both. They have a great selection of fresh oysters and the staff are EXTREMELY knowledgeable. They helped my boyfriend and I realize we love west coast oysters. It has a very marine vibe to the place with lots to look at. The restuarant atmosphere is homey and comfortable. Overall, a great place to go for couples, groups and families alike. You can be as casual or as dressed up as you like.

I visited Rodney's last week, it had been quite sometime since my last visit, and after I was left wondering why it took so long to return! We sat up at the bar, the staff are amazing, knowledgeable, and funny! I wasn't as open to trying things my last visit, but this time with some persuasion, I tried the oysters (I know, I know, it's an oyster house!! but I was really there to eat lobster!) All I have to say is; I can't believe I didn't have these before, they were amazing and with the help of the staff I received the perfect ones for my palate along with a perfect wine pairing. We will definitely be returning, and soon!

Most amazing oysters and crabs. And most amazing service.Thank you! You have a great team and you can feel they enjoy what they are doing and who they are doing it for. Enjoyed the ambience very much. I already crave to go back...

Love this place! Best oysters I have ever had, and I eat them from high end places all the time. I’ve been a few times and am always impressed. Brett and Donny are the best!

I'm late writing this review. I had expected a response from someone higher up at Rodney's prior to this time. That response never happened, and so I'm now posting. Upon arrival, the hostess cut and served our bread with her bare hands. I didn't care for this but was prepared to let it go until the chow came out. There were baby cockroaches on two separate dishes, not in the food but on their serving breadboards. I didn't say anything immediately to the staff because we were entertaining guests and I really wanted the evening to go well. I called the next day to explain the situation. Sadly, excuses were made and obviously my complaint fell on deaf ears. I'm a reasonable person but feel I couldn't let this one go. When I called Rodney's, I suggested that instead of writing a poor review I would call to discuss it. No response so, there you have it.
