My boyfriend and I have rated this our special date spot. Always a pleasant experience, but especially tonight, our waitress was the one to beat. She even wrote a cute note on our takeout box. We love sitting at the chef’s table to watch all the action. We always order the same thing: scallops, octopus, and duck confit rice. The scallops are melt-in-your-mouth, I actually stop talking for a full 3min so that I can fully enjoy the flavour. The rice is a large portion but the longer it sits in the bowl the crispier it gets so it’s win-win! The manager Jefferson was super pleasant and put smiles on our faces. Such a great way to end our night. We will continue to try to visit every month!

While visiting toronto, I checked this place out on a Friday Night. Got there around 1:30am there were no line ups, head to the second floor which was just a lounge with moderate amount of people inside. The place was not vented properly and was quite hot inside but considering it was cold outside I did not mind it. Later on, met up with few friends and we head upstairs were there was dance floor. Great vibe, and great music. However, like downstairs it was quite hot inside. Overall i had a good experience there.

I was in the downtown area after a raptor playoff win, we came to Baro for a bite and some drinks. I was amazed at the service provided! The 32oz steak was amazing and we had Anthony as our bartender who was very keen on ensuring our drinks were always filled and service on point! Great time at Baro, I would definitely recommend it. Great food, Amazing service and the energy in the atmosphere is incredible!

By far some of the best tasting dishes I've ever had in Toronto!! Our first visit we not only got an amazing dish but management also explained the culinary delicacies we were eating. My experience was fantastic, although you may need to book ahead the restaurant is typically busy. The food is a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and the service. It's impressive how amazing the service is, considering the place is typically always a full-house. Our second visit we had some fantastic sea food, it blew our minds!! I am always iffy about eating sea food at restaurants but the whole fried fish made me feel like I was eating fresh branzino caught right out of the Mediterranean. A must try!!! Also, due to their restaurant being so busy it's not the most romantic place for a date. Best to go with a group. However, they do delivery!! So you can still have their amazing food from the comfort of your home with your significant other.

Great restaurant. Lots of flavours. The chips and salsa were tasty. The Yuca was a nice taste. The duck was delicious and the bowl kept the rice and duck meat really warm for a while. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Great place.
