Certainly a lovely and quite place in downtown Toronto. I really enjoyed my time there with my wife. Decor and set of restaurant match royal York lobby style. Staff is friendly and attentive. However, not everything was pink color. We ordered quite traditional and easy dishes from the menu, unfortunately our meal failed epically due to lack of flavour. I have been here before and I really liked it but this last time, we were quite disappointed. Last but not least, bear in mind that this restaurant due it's location, it is going to be quite costly.

Came here for Sunday brunch. To be fair... I really need to break this review into 2 areas... Food and the service (or the lack of...) For the food offered, the cooking and selection was nice and tasted well. The cooked to order selection was amazing and Chef Cory went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.. . The wait staff. The staff here has little to no interest in serving you... at least during the brunch service. They are no where to be found and you need to flag down others just to grab their attention. Big time negative points. Last note is the US exchange truly sucks here. At current I can get 1.27 for the dollar... I was only offered 1.15 and that was their special rate for hotel guests... I will think twice next time returning to the area.

Delicious Sunday brunch. Great selection makes the price seem very reasonable. Waffles, eggs, omlettes, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, yogurts, cereals, salmon, prime rib, toast, and I'm probably forgetting lots. Great service too! Reservations recommended for brunch I would say. And if you've had buffet at other fairmonts this one has a larger selection than others.

Top notch breakfast... A wide variety of options for breakfast from good bread to fresh fruit and juice to hot dishes. You will get what one would expect of a high end establishment. Loved the atmosphere, the food and the restaurant!

As far as hotel lobby resteraunts go, it's a little higher end, and a little old school looking (as befits the historic space). Both the host and sever were quite friendly and prompt. The menu was thoughtful, and higher end, but not unreasonably priced. Worth it just to poke around in the lobby of the Royal York, especially when it's decorated for the holidays.
