To be fair we went as a big group, but was attentive and everything came out relatively fast. Except for the sticky rice. Had to wait for that. Food was really good and spicy. They warn you beforehand. Pretty good spot since the Kitchener hotel downtown is south of the restaurant

This place is an incredible gem. Downtown Kitchener is thick with ethnic restaurants. Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Austrian, Sushi, Soul, Italian, Lebanese, El Salvadorean, African, Turkish. But Northern Thai deserves the highest possible ranking for everything. The quality of the food, the service, the atmosphere. The Lemon Grass Soups are unbelievable. We had two soups (one with shrimp, one with vegetables), Thai rolls (four to the order), sweet and sour chicken stir fry, mixed seafood with basil stir fry and an order of Jasmine rice. $51.97, plus tip. And we had to take some home. Simply put, this is one of our very best place to eat in Downtown Kitchener, or anywhere in Waterloo Region for that matter.

Yummy!!! I tried the green curry. Super large portion. The waitress accommodated our special requests which was nice. The four flame fish was also great. There are variety of dishes for those who aren't adventurous too.

I keep going to this little hole-in-the-wall joint because it's outstanding. Very authentic and reasonably priced, and the staff are very kind as well

Don't let the location or outer appearance fool you - this is a serious Thai restaurant and hidden gem a block away from King Street. Lots of classic Thai dishes like pad thai along with some more exciting and exotic options. Haven't tried many dishes but they all look delicious and generously sized. My personal favorite is the dry beef curry.
