Love this place. Awesome vegan food. Love their club sandwich! They always have paintings for sale on the wall. Convenient spot but slightly sketchy area. They give you cool little animal figurines instead of table numbers when you go sit down to wait for your food.

I'm not a vegan, but the food I've tried here did not taste "vegan" at all. Friendly customer service. I've gotten the big bang twice here, the first time was amazing since they put a lot of sauce on the burger, the second time could have used more sauce. Very tasty food, but the price is a bit high for the portion sizes.

Cafe Pyrus has come a long way! I am happy to have witnessed it over the years. Many delicious options for vegetarian and vegan eats. Cafe Pyrus works hard to maintain quality but are conscious of the farm to plate concept. Do have the vegan yogurt! It is amazing with the granola. The Rueben is another yummy dish. I love coming to sit and work. Very welcoming.

I loved this place, not least because my vegan wife can choose anything off the menu here. It looks a little shabby inside but I guess that's shabby chic these days. As a non-vegan, I enjoyed the food and the selection was broad even for a fussy eater like me. I also enjoyed the people watching; an interesting crowd, for sure. Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing vegan food. We try to go here every chance we get in downtown Kitchener. The Big Bang is my favourite sandwich. The coffee, kombucha, shakes, and bake goods are definitely worth checking out.
