Great service. Waiter was friendly and quick even though it was busy. Prices are great and you get a huge portion. Seriously I had a 15$ meal and felt full for the whole day. I even had leftovers. The food itself was tasty too

Good food, friendly service and a quaint atmosphere make for a good recipe. The menu is widely varied, including steaks, pasta, seafood, sandwiches, desserts, a variety of beverages including specialty (alcoholic) coffee. The desserts looked good but I was stuffed after barely eating half of my Reuben sandwich. The portions are large. Very large. The only knock is the the prices are scaled with the portions, so for a Reuben, glass of wine, and a club soda, my tab was nearly $40 before the tip.

OMG!!!!....Decided to have lunch here with my wife. Both of us have eaten here for lunch separately in the past and thought to try it again. Glad to see some places have not changed and Peter's is still an institute onto itself. Greek salad for one easily fed both my wife and I. I had the smoked meat sandwich and she had the fish and chips. Suffice it to say that we were happily stuffed with great tasting food and still were able to bring home a fillet of halibut. I hope Peter's is there for several more decades....

Mixed review: service was not great. We had a reservation that they were not ready for. The tables were not set. The water tasted funny. The place needs a renovation and more. The food was great. The corned beef was delicious. The coleslaw was great. The fries were okay. You pay 5$ more for fries and coleslaw which is little too much. The food is overpriced. The pasta is bland. The plates are big to be fair but still the prices are like going to the keg. I didn't want to give it a bad review because the food was great but the service pushed the rating down. Oh and you have to pay 5$ extra for 2 people to share a plate. Yes you heard me. I find that to be a bit too much.

Fifteen years we've been passing by this cute retro restaurant... First time we stepped in. The decor is stuck a few decades back but the food is excellent and the portions are massive (this is considered the "small" souvlaki dinner, the "regular" is twice as big). If you're looking for a quiet place to eat this isn't it but definitely a fun place to grab a bite or bring the kids.
