Went for a late lunch. Servers were friendly and let us pick our table. Has that charm and feeling of the diner still from before management changed which was nice. Their pork patties are unique, and you don't find them at many other burger places. I ordered The Pig Mac with their soup of the day, a mushroom potato and bacon soup. The soup was surprisingly not a cream based soup but nonetheless still delicious. Not too salty but we'll seasoned, could taste the different flavours with every spoonful. The Pig Mac burger is their take on a Big Mac - so it has the same toppings and layout, down to the middle piece of bread and special sauce. The pork patties were nice and juicy on the inside, but still has a nice crisp (and not burnt) outside. Slight grease with it but expected, the flavour just makes your mouth water. I couldn't wipe the grin off my face while eating the bigger. You should try it too!

There are not too many places in Waterloo that are steeped in tradition for locals. This diner is all about timeless design and menu. Their slider is why people come. Surprisingly enough, the recipe from the last owner was not passed on for it, but I can barely taste the difference. The place has received a nice refresh after the new management has taken over. (it's clean now).

Fantastic food. Nostalgic but with the addition high quality ingredients. Service and servers are top notch. Wouldn't change a thing. Well done!

Chicken sandwich, fries with their homemade dipping sauce is sensational. Great staff, great events, great music, always a great time. “Pile on plate” is just ridiculously fun at $12. Warm inviting place, noticed 10¢ candy at the counter and it brought a wave of good nostalgia.

The food was tasty. Questioned the cost of some of the items on the menu, but there are definitely a few cost effective alternatives. Service staff were wonderful, food arrived in a timely manner, and the atmosphere was relatively pleasant. Perfect for tea, eating solo, dinning with a group, family meals and more.
