It had some interesting flavours, but the cooks were incredibly slow and the prices were high. The lamb dish had minute amounts of meat with a rather sweet sauce, and there was some appetizer which did not pack a lot of taste. The mussels were okay, but nothing extraordinary, and the bread they brought was burnt. The waiter was very attentive, which wins terre rouge a star.

I was looking for a nice meal while staying downtown and ended up here and I am so glad I did! It was quiet, as most of PEI is in the winter, but the atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. I had the braised lamb with gnocchi and it was exquisite. Great quality ingredients and excellent flavours. Not an inexpensive meal but the food lived up to the price tag. I'm sure I'll be back.

The mushroom toast was delish and served in large portion. Definitely share or have it as your main. Staff was lovely. If you’re looking to eat local, this is a great spot.

I loved the decor and the vibe of the restaurant, but the meal was overpriced, overrated, and the service was poor. The restaurant was completely empty when we visited - 1 couple had finished their meal and another couple left early on, but it still took over 2 hours for us to receive our meal, dessert, and pay the bill. Service was excruciatingly slow even though we were the only diners at the restaurant and they gave us attitude about asking to pay the bill, even though we had already waited 20 minutes for the machine. The amuse bouche was good, but the chowder needed seasoning and the lamb was overly salty and not very good. The burger was over-done. Dessert was similarly disappointing. I would not return to Terre Rouge.

Great service and excellent cuisine. Marrow bone in the smoker. Great Idea. Well served, great looking plate. Thanks
