This wasn't my first visit to Dave's Lobster. Last time I was there was around 4 years ago and it still tastes the same. A nice warm roll with hot and cold lobster. I got the split option. Half the local and some fancy. Tasted great. Always good. Also try the Anne of Green Cables Raspberry Cordial drink. Great drink.

A medium sized lobster roll came to $26.57. Consisted of maybe 1/2 cup of canned lobster that was watery and flavorless. They forgot my pickle and bag of chips with the take out order. In contrast, the rolls commit from the chip shack q few feet away were probably double or better the size. I didn't have a chance to try them. The venue is very busy, and the staff is very pleasant. A lot of other people seemed to be ordering, so maybe I'm just fussy. For a tiny amount of food at this price I expected A LOT more. Most of the sit down restaurants in the area are slightly cheaper.

My fiancé and I stopped by this morning and had half &half (he had gluten free). It was really good! The lobster was cooked just right and the seasonings complemented the lobster very well. We both preferred the "some fancy" which was warm and in a lemony butter sauce. It was a good find amidst the rainy day we've had today.

My brother and I stopped here for a coffee when we were on the Island, after our mother's funeral. We just needed a quiet, low key place to chat for an hour or so. This place provided it. They probably never guessed how much we appreciated their unobtrusive service. It was exactly what we needed at that moment.

Very good lobster roll in three sizes. The mediums were more than adequate, with plenty of lobster, sweet and fresh. There is nothing fancy about Dave's but its primary product is what it is all about, you get choices on size and preparation and there was beer to wash it down! Superb! You could pay less, and most likely get less, and you easily could pay more without being any happier. Dave's is all about lobster rolls ... And there is little more I could desire!
