I meant to leave a review years ago right after my visit but I kept wanting to forget about this experience. Back in February 2015, I got food poisoning from their sashimi!! And it was right before my flight so I was puking on my flight—worst experience ever! I was sick for days afterward. And for their price, you would expect they can afford to take extra precaution when handling raw fish which is so sensitive. I will never come back again and have told all my friends about this too over the years. On top of that, their food tasted like food court “Japanese” food aka nothing like Japanese food.

Food was good, owner was very warm and welcoming.

The sushi was fresh and delicious, the menu is a little expensive but that is expected from a tourist spot. I would have given the restraruant a 4 but the chicken with peanut sauce was horrible. The chicken came in little balls that were deep fried, they were over cooked and did not care for the sauce at all.

Nice place, with a bar at the front and 10 tables at the back. Beautiful decor, good service will get a 5 star, but food only - 4.

We’re at the Fairmount Hotel and just ordered for take out: 2 hosomakis shrimp and smoked salmon Shrimp tempura (gi) Sushi pizza The sushi pizza is hot fresh and delicious! The shrimp tempura roll was not fresh; prerolled at least a day ago, the tempura fridge cold and the rice so compact it’s hard to chew The hosomaki seafood is not fresh and has a smelly fish odor to them Packaging is a high point! Comes in a cute cardboard box. No plastic except for the chopstick wrap. Use the usual paper chopstick pocket, better!
