The Rolls were good, but the service was better! I ordered a bunch of rolls to go off of their to go menu. I guess the to go menu hadn't been updates as most of the rolls I ordered were njo longer available. Even though they weren't available, the server put in my requested order, and made sure the sushi chefs made the correct ones. Great place! Next time I'm in Columbus, I'm definitely going back!

The food was good, but the customer service was horrible. As soon as I got in I seen an employee upset and he was cursing the whole time. The waitress I had, Leslie, took my order, repeated it back to me and STILL got it wrong. Not only did she get it wrong, she forgot what kind of soup I ordered literally 2 minutes after taking my order. Then my food was missing the shrimp, she then says she only rang me up for then steak, but she REPEATED the order back to me and said “STEAK AND SHRIMP”. So she apologizes and orders me some shrimp, then when it’s time to get my ticket, she charges me $8.99 for extra shrimp that was suppose to come with my meal. I ask her about if this was the same price for the meal that I ordered, she goes, I think it’s originally about $20 something, she grabs a menu and she tries to go to the DINNER section, I said “I ordered the lunch special..” and she goes “oh yea, lunch..” she fixes it after she tried to finesse me. All the waitresses were walking around with attitudes and rolling their eyes. SMH, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

This is my favorite place to eat. I've eaten in some very nice establishments, with dinners that cost A LOT more, and they can't hold a candle to The Samurai. For starters, the prices are very good for what you're getting. Portions are hefty, both for hibachi and for sushi. The sushi is my favorite thing here, and for good reason. It is GORGEOUS and the rolls are very large. The quality is always top tier, and the presentation is like an art piece. I also like the bento boxes, as the food in those is always cooked to perfection. I try to go once a month, as it is an hour away from where I live. However, it is definitely worth the drive!

Absolutely awful. Everything started fine. Our waiter was super kind and conversational. Unfortunately, he was the only good part of this Samurai experience. The miso soup was salty, and the onion soup was disgustingly fishy. I ordered the Snow White and California rolls. As soon as I picked it up, I could tell something was off. They were warm, as if they had been sitting out for the past hour in the kitchen. I decided to risk it anyways and took a bite. Huge mistake. The crab tasted like the gelatin in a vienna sausage can. I could barely swallow it. I thought maybe it was just that roll, so I tried a different one. Same experience. I tried another piece of each just to make sure, as did my friend. She had also ordered sushi with crab in it. Hers was the same way. Instead of the crab melting in our mouth like butter, it tasted like rotten cream cheese, mushing in the same way. I tried one of hers and she tried another piece just to make sure (we didn't want to say anything if it was just that piece) but it was awful. I got a full refund because mine had only had 5 eaten out of 20 pieces. My friend, however, had ordered the military rolls, and they each come with 6 pieces. Together, she n I ate 3 pieces of hers. The manager refused to refund her for even just that roll. At this point, we were feeling nauseous and just plain sick. So she and another friend went inside to speak to the manager. He was extremely rude, claiming that we must be sick from something else we had eaten (Hint: we had eaten nothing else today). He told her to go to the hospital and bring back the bill and a lawyer. He claimed that all their food was fresh and stored properly (obviously not). My friend and I now have food poisoning. She threw up as soon as we got back home. Do NOT waste your time or money here.

Best Sushi in town. So creative very and artistic. The quantity is well worth the money. Customer service is awesome. A must go to place on Columbus.
