I would give this place 0 stars if I had the option. Awful, Awful, Awful! What did I just eat? The name is Mario's, but they serve Greek food, and Arabic music was blasting when we ate there. What's going on? The atmosphere feels like something out of a Italian mafia movie, between the long ominous staircase to get in and the weird, dingy feeling that the place emits. I had to check behind the toilet to make sure there wasn't a revolver stashed away. The black stains on the seats were also pretty gross. The food was just as bad (if not worse). I ordered the falafel and Lamb Gyro. Both were terrible, and I'm ALMOST POSITIVE that I heard the *ding* of a microwave RIGHT before the waitress brought our food - it certainly SMELT and tasted like it was just pulled out of a microwave. Avoid at all costs.

Service was fine. Seemed like a local spot but just Sysco foods top of the line. Cheap fries onion rings etc. Lamb smelled horrible.

Best Mediterranean food in the area! The owner Sylvia and her staff makes you feel like part of the family. Friendly and excellent customer service, everything was fresh and delicious. You got to try the Turkish coffee.

The absolute BEST leg of lamb in the world! My son and I always share the leg of lamb and Baba Ghanoush and order an extra salad. The salad dressing is a bit strong, so I ask them to bring extra olive oil. We LOVE this place!

This is by far my favorite restaurant on Broadway! I try to go at least once a week for the delicious authentic Mediterranean food and the welcoming environment, don't let the narrow stair case fool you either it really opens up once you get to the top!
