The restaurant is strategically and very well placed in this downtown region off of K Street and 4th. The staff is very welcoming as soon as you walk through the door somebody greets you. My overall experience with this Diner was excellent. I ordered the number one off of their menu which came with two eggs, two slices of toast, hash browns and your choice of meat, which I chose to have the reindeer and I had never had before and my opinion is that it was very tasty and I enjoyed it. The environment was very nice they were playing music, the decoration and overall theme of the restaurant was very well. So, the overall satisfaction of the my time there was a 5 star. I recommend it to anybody who's wanting not a very large portion of food but enough to fill your stomach at a decently reasonable price for what I have seen thus far here in Alaska.

Great prices for lunch downtown. They make a pretty good burger but it's the neighborhood 'hey we know you!' vibe that really sells it for me. I've gone many times, tried different menu items and have always been pleased.

Very good food, service could be a little faster but employees are really nice.

This place is a small Cafe/diner not far from the Captain Cook hotel. It's a fairly unassuming place to look at, but the for it excellent. Very traditional dinner food. I had the Alaska omelet with reindeer sausage, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. The hash browns are actually home fries, but they are perfect. Definitely recommend!
