Very good food but dinning area is far too cramped for my liking.

We had the most amazing dinner at Ludvig's! Our friends ordered the calamari and mushrooms for appetizers and both were outstanding. The portions are large, we ordered house salads to start and split the bistro steak. Our friends had the paella and linguine with plenty of leftovers to take back to the lodge. Highly recommend this place for dinner and make sure you make a reservation.

If I could, I would give them 10 stars. The food is out of this world, hands down. You must make a reservation because they are so popular. The paella, king salmon and scallops were outstanding entrees. You can't go wrong if you eat at Ludvig's!!

Had one of the best meals and times last night. The restaurant has a wonderful vibe. The food was excellent, but what really made it perfect were the wait staff. The two ladies who served the four of us were funny and had a great rapoure. Even though we probably were a bit roudy.

I'll give it 5 stars because the food and ambiance was amazing. However be prepared that it is extremely expensive. Yes it's 5 star, and my steak was amazing but it wasn't $50 amazing. The king salmon entrée was the only thing on the menu that was worth the money. Wouldn't be hard to claim it's the best food in Sitka but be prepared to pay. Also it's a very small place. You'll need reservations often several days in advance.
