We were on a no-destination exploratory drive and happened across this bakery. My husband had been here before and spoke highly of it. It is a cool little building with clean bathrooms, but when I went in to grab something the pickins were slim, my friend. They had three items in the case. They weren't labeled, so I don't actually know what I bought, but I got two of what looked like a cinnamon rolls but with apple. They are like $4 a piece, which is definitely on the high side for me, but I don't mind spending extra on something of high quality. However my husband and I were sorely disappointed in our apple things. They tasted a bit stale, like they were day-old pastries. Just a bit too tough and dry. We did pass through in the off season, so that probably explains a lot, but even when the season picks up I am certainly not champing at the bit to go spend more money there.

Cute little bakery serving all fresh baked items. It was on our way while driving from Zion national Park to Vegas. Had a quick breakkie with coffee. Loved the place.

We had an artisan baguette yesterday that was wonderful. We could only finish half at dinner so the other half became divine French toast for breakfast. Yum!

The best black authentic German bread I had in years. Their croissants are pure delight. Suggestion...add a Nespresso machine and you'll have a great European heaven in the middle of the US wilderness

This is a bakery oasis is the middle of the red rock desert! Prices were higher than I would have preferred, but the pastries were amazing - flaky, light, flavorful. My kids are asking months later if we can go back. They can't remember what they had for breakfast, but the remember the German bakery in the middle of nowhere! And yes, we will stop there next time.
