I have never in my life got up and walked out of a restaurant in tears. The girl that seated my husband and I was very friendly, but our waiter (Rio) on the other hand needs a lesson in etiquette along with a much kinder personality, If I was his boss I can tell you he would not be working there. After giving us the menu's and very quickly telling us about the special for the evening and giving us sometime to look at the menu he came back to get our drink order, when I asked whatelse there was to drink besides alcohol, he very rudely said "drinks are lised in the back" while taking my menu and turning it to the back page as if I was a child, I then asked once more if you served tea, lemonade or soda to which he replied no and then asked if we were ready to order, I said not yet so he left. Then my experience got even worse as I was looking over the menu (still upset with his rudeness and the fact according to him there were no other drink options.) There was only one item on the menu that my husband would be able to eat, and nothing that I would eat except for the fried green tomato appetizer, Rio finally returned again to which he seemed to want to rush us to order didn't want to answer any questions at this point I said can you give us justa few more minutes and he hatefully turned and walked away. Now mind you this was a busy time, and another table across from us was being waited on by a different waiter who was very polite and professional. My husband could tell that I was upset, got up went to the bar and asked if they had something other than water and alcohol to drink and was told that yes they had iced or cold tea: after my husband came back to the table, Rio came back to the table very irritated and almost slamming the tea and sugar down then without one word stomped off like a two year old. I told my husband I did not want to sit at the table or in the restaurant one minute longer and I would not be ordering from the menu and did not want to see Rio one more time, so we got up and walked out, I have nevet been treated so rudely to in a restaurant like I was here. Unfortunately the lowest I can rate your service is with one star, just wish there was an option to give no stars.

Let me start by saying I have eaten at some of the best steak houses in the country, and the Tavern's fillet holds it own. We were celebrating a special occasion in our family. The tavern was accommodating, and incredibly kind. We were able to move our reservation up just an hour before we were supposed to be there, and they were gracious to do so. Our server, Sarah, was wonderful! So pleasant and knew the menu through and through. She made the evening that much better. They set aside a table for our cake, helped me move candles around to get a better shot of the happy couple, and overall went above and beyond. We each bragged and bragged about our food. THANK YOU for helping us celebrate this evening. The food, service, and atmosphere were top knotch, and we will certainly be back on our future visits to Eureka Springs.

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! The most upscale and delightful fine dining experience in Eureka Springs. The service was impeccable, the food was fresh, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Our table started with the pan seared scallops- perfectly seared with delicious sauce. Asparagus soup, decadent and creamy...crab cakes were fresh lump crab with light crispy breading served on a delicious remoulade. Each had fresh salads Caesar and berry house salad and fried green tomatoes. I had the lightly crusted flounder with fresh crisp vegetables and perfectly stacked “scallop like” layered potatoes. My husband liked the scallops so much he had them again for his entree. My father had the chicken pasta and veggies. Let me also tell you the martinis were the BEST in town! Mom had the chocolate martini and I had lemon martini and apple martini. Overall this was the best food on our entire vacation including our voyage unto Branson, Mo. Thank you for taking such exquisite care of me and my family! God Bless you!!

Heads up on overpriced drinks. Ducked in for a couple drinks before a show and I’m still in shock by how expensive they were. Twenty dollars for a well rum and coke is not cool.
