What a pleasant surprise! Outstanding, creative food and wine in very interesting location (one whole wall of the dining room is exposed rock from the cliff face onto which the building is attached). Waiter was fabulous. Only problems are parking--recommend you plan ahead in terms of locating parking spot (we used small fee-based lot a block to the N on corner of Center and Mountain)--and the AC which kept the dining room pretty cold

What a cool atmosphere! Restaurant and bar built into a cave with a natural spring! The food was amazing too! We had the quail poppers (these are fantastic!) and the mushroom brie soup (also very good). This place will definitely be on the "must visit" list every time I make my way to Eureka!

After driving about 10 hours in the car from Austin, TX we planned to stop at this fantastic looking restaurant on our way up north. Though showing up completely exhausted on most likely talking like a crazy person, we were met with warm smiles, good wine and some killer brussel sprouts. The steak was super good and they know how to hit the perfect temperature for the cut. This is date night on the next level or great place to go for just some personal you time. You deserve it. You work hard. Head over to the Grotto and have some tasty wine in the cavernous delight!

At our table we tried the 3 different steaks. The ribeye, the filet, and the KC Strip. We shared amongst the table and all 3 were excellent. The vegetable was asparagus that was grilled to perfection. One of the members at our table commented that is was the best meal she ever had. I thought the meal was excellent and our waiter was attentive and spot on for service. Highly recommend trying it out.
