Fun place to go for the after hours dancing. To clarify, the restaurant closes at 9pm but the dancing and bar opens at 9:30pm. If you love Latin music then Saturday nights are the best night to go to. There are two drawbacks to the place though. First is that the men's bathroom is small, on a busy night anticipate the line to form. Second is the bar. Even though it is not a huge establishment, there should be 2 bartenders there taking care of the customers to help speed up the wait time. I will say that the bartender is a good pourer.

First time here! Love the atmosphere. You can have a conversation without being drowned out by others. Cozy. Relaxing. Excellent service! Very friendly and attentive. I had the Sopes with chicken. The chicken didn't have much flavor but salsa fixed that. The corn meal patties were amazing! The hubby had the chicken enchilada suizas and enjoyed it. Was light on flavor, too. We'll be back to try other dishes.

I wanted to give them a 5 star rating but, unfortunately my vegetarian tacos were so salty that I couldn't even eat them tonight. This is not normal for La Tapatia and I hope that the new cook goes light on the salt next time. We will definitely be back because we really do love their food and want to give them another try.
