Amazing authentic Malaysian halal food. The food is really cheap for the quality of food. Definitely underated. A great little gem near LAX. I struggled to find it in moving traffic and parking is around the back with an obscure rear entrance as well. Definitely an eclectic place with far Eastern products for sale as well. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Beef rendeng and the beef soup is what I ordered. Both very good. I didn't get spicy because I know I can't take it. Two guys eating there ordered spicy and they kept coughing and choking from the heat but they finished their foods because it tastes good. They have a tiny grocery section for Malay foods. Really nice people and very clean inside. Parking in the rear. In going to try their curries next time. Highly recommended.

The food here is really good. It's a combination of Malaysian and Burmese food and the meat is all halal. There's a good variety of noodle, rice and curry dishes as well as soups and other food. The prices are really affordable, about $7-$8 per dish. The only negative thing I'd say is that the portions are a little small. Mutiara also sells some groceries, but not much. Calling it a market is a bit of a stretch.

There is no other place in LA with authentic Malay dishes like this place. Everything I've had off the menu is great... the Nasi Goreng and yellow curry are my favorites
