Please don't waist your time. The place was cute, but nearly empty. Our waitress was horrible. I Was served warm raw oysters with sand in them... yum. Moving on to the main course, lobster and Velveeta mac and cheese. If you like rubberized Lobster and fake chemical cheese go for it it will definitely be your thing, if you want something edible, skip this. I then got to wait over 20 minutes for our waitress to come back and give us a check, never asked how the food was, never asked if we would like to order desert...after I told her I would not be eating it and it was disgusting, she just left the check, never asked if I'd like to order anything else or if the other part of the party would like to order dessert... just went back to being a absolutely atrocious waitress, and went back behind the bar to talk to someone else working there, as she did through our entire meal. Only reason This place got any stars was because it forces me to leave a star to write a review. NEVER AGAIN

I really like the service and how quickly you can get seated most of the time. The restaurant is small but even at busier times, we are able to be seated fairly quickly. I usually order the bloody mary or the Rombauer chardonnay -- they do not have hard liquor so they use a wine based alcohol substitute for the marys, its actually not bad! I have yet to try the mimosas here but heard its great! Here is what we usually order: 1. Fish and chips (the batter is wonderful and the fish is always juicy and flavorful) 2. Dozen fresh oysters (they clean it pretty well, I rarely get shells when I eat them) 3. Mussels and clams (garlic wine sauce-- good but the mussels can be small) 4. Bread pudding (we take this home with us -- its so good even the next day) For the area, its not a bad place for some lobster and oysters!~

This is the second time we have exactly the same experience: long wait sit at the table we've reserved and very slow service. It took us almost a year to return after last time's bad experience. We made a reservation ahead of time on a non-rush hour time to reduce the chance of getting slow service again (3pm). When we got here, our table was not ready. Then, from the time we placed our order to the time our order came out, we had to wait for 50 minutes! We kept reminding them because we had two hungry kids on tow. We only got an order of calamari in between and one plate of fish and chips they brought out, with apologies about something going wrong in the kitchen. Did the kitchen forget our order? Most probably yes. The waitress was apologetic but this didn't help with our hunger. They ended up giving us another order of fish and chips on the house, which came with the rest of the order (minus some items) 1 hour and 15 minutes after our reservation time. This was their second chance to redeem and they messed up. Not coming back.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Place wasn't busy. Got a table right away. Did not get service till 15 minutes later after waving someone down. After drink order was taken we were offered bread. That never came. Asked server about the bread & was told that they ran out. Thinking to myself... if they ran out then you should let the customer know & not wait till you are asked. Ordered the 3 pc fish & chips. Only got 2 pc. Quality of food was decent but lacks quantity. Fries portions are small. Plate looked empty even before I started eating. First time here. Undecided if I will go back.

This place is small and was packed when we (4 people) arrived. We ordered several itelms the crab cakes and the lobster sandwich we're just OK the other dish was better so we decided to give this place one more try. The main reason for us coming to Billy's was for the lobster sandwich and sadly we did not get what we expected. But they have a large menu with many choices so we will be back to try some other dishes.
