While the ambiance, food and table service were pleasant, the first point of contact, the hostess, was unfriendly and seemed annoyed to help us during a lull at the end of happy hour. I believe her name was Erin, she seemed bothered about our request for a high chair. No hospitality skills whatsoever. Our server was fun and energetic, asked our oldest daughter what her name was and asked about her day. He took a genuine interest. He also recommended a cucumber cocktail that my wife thoroughly enjoyed. Upon our exit through an empty lobby (six of us in our party), the hostess again failed to smile, nor wish us a thank you or good evening wish. She wasn’t on the phone, or chit chatting with a fellow employee (as I saw numerous times during our meal). My wife actually walked back in the restaurant to confront her- to tell her she should work on people skills and attitude. As the first and last point of customer contact, a hostess upgrade (or training at minimum), is strongly advised. Our visit was on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Had a few too many problems here. Food was overpriced and service was slow. One drink took 20 minutes, and although the waiter promised twice that the drink would be complimentary, it showed up on the bill. Pricey but you're paying for the atmosphere.

Ordered a burger for dinner, protein option which means no bun and with a fried egg. Wait person brought a burger on bun sans egg. He corrected it quickly when I brought it to his attention. Burger was very good. Wait staff checked in on me frequently. Background music was too loud for me. Burger was $16 but I felt it was worth it considering ambiance of restaurant. Reason for 4 start not 5 was music was too loud.

Service is TERRIBLE. They didn’t let me make additions or changes to my food! Better service at pita pit down the street. The food is below average. Only come if you have too.

The drinks, food, service are excellent. My favorite dish is the sweet tea brined crispy chicken sandwich, lettuce wrapped. And the best part is they take reservations.
