Decent food, bad service, good drinks and happy hour. This restaurant is right next to the gondola that takes you to and from the slopes. The service was pitifully bad - but our group still had a good time and ordered drinks off the happy hour menu, which were good. The happy hour menu is very limited, but it's still worth doing if you're there. The meat was tough on the fajita plate I ordered, which was not on the happy hour menu. Overall I would recommend trying a different place in the village.

My husband and I frequent Mammoth during the ski season and part of our planning always includes a discussion of which night we’re eating at Gomez’s. We love the food and atmosphere. Our main issue is that they don’t take reservations, so the wait times are insane. Russ, when he’s there, is friendly and tries to accommodate, but most of the time we wait a long time for seats at the bar. When we’ve had large parties we don’t even bother going there for dinner. Wish they would consider taking reservations.

I would be giving this place 5 stars for the food. The service wasn't awesome. We ordered an appetizer, it came after the food. They brought a bottle of wine, it was too warm and they didn't let us taste it. It is Sunday, so benefit of the doubt. I want to give 5 stars, but taking one off for the service.

Great food, drinks, staff and atmosphere.

Good taste and portions, better than your average Mexican restaurant taste, was the only place open at 12:30 PM for quick lunch in the “village” beside Starbucks.
