I just recently walked out of this restaurant. I am on vacation with a group of mine. I ordered a beer. I understand that I am from out of town with an out fhere town Id. I also understand that it is a resort town. They are strict on underage drinking but to make me a customer recite the contents of my license is a little extreme. I felt completely disrespected and astonished that a restaurant claiming to be an upscale restaurant would treat me in such a manner. I am a seasonal member of mammoth and tonight was the worth service and joking disrespect towards me I have ever received. I politely asked the hostess the be careful with my license as I am from out of town and it at this point is now being passed around the restaurant between staff. She looks at me and bends my license in half and laughs about it as it creases and brakes. Needless to say I walked down to @53 restaurant just a couple doors down. It's nice being able to come to a place that doesn't harass you within first 2 minutes of sitting down while your on vacation

I very rarely rate any restaurant less than a three but this place has to be an exception. Simply put, the food was inedible. We ordered three rolls and some of their garlic edemame. The edemame was covered in a weird oil that made it taste like plastic and each roll was over salted or over way too spicy. In either case, the flavor of the fish was totally muted and it just wasn't sushi. The service was fine, but that's about the only complement I can give.
