First comment is, this place is expensive. If you can get over that, I had duck liver on toast with a pineapple pickled jalapeno as an appetizer...it was awesome. It was probably the least expensive item on the menu. Next I had roasted octopus, curried raisins and butterball potatoes... amazing. Also, probably the least expensive entre. My 1oz Redbreast whiskey set me back $15 and I chased that down with a $7 IPA. All in all the meal and drinks were fantastic. The atmosphere was great, hip and loud. The place gets packed so expect a long wait for a table and a decent wait for a seat at the bar. In my opinion, worth it.

Sometimes it pays off to travel alone and do a walk-in. The food here is exceptional! I feel lucky I was staying relatively close. The amount of texture and flavours in the dishes was excellent. Absolute must try in San Francisco

Wanted to try this place for a long time. Was finally able to check it out. Got there at 5:30 to put my name down for 2. Hung out downstairs at Gen Gen Lounge to wait and got a table after 3 hours. I got sick from the last cocktail I had in the lounge so overall I couldn't enjoy dinner. I had fun and the food was good, but honestly I thought it would be better. It the prices were outrageous though. I wouldn't go again unless it was a special occasion.

Really good good food. The portion sizes are decent or on the larger side. I'd go here again and recommend it to others. You should probably make a reservation.

Incredible food. Had the Poke, Shrimp, pork jowl, and duck liver. Easily top 5 restaurants I've ever eaten at. Shout out to Lucas who bartended and served, great recommendations, knowledge on local and national fine dining, and wonderful service all around. Came on a rainy Monday arrived at 5:05 and the bar was already half full, definitely get there early if you want to walk in for dinner.
