What a great find! If you are looking to have a great seafood dinner on the wharf at an affordable price, this is the place!! It is the same fish and fresh ingredients as the partner restaurant Stagnaros- (Which I was actually disappointed in after all the hype.) This is a simple, yet large variety, line cook prepared menu. It's not chef style, but sometimes chefs are a bit overpriced for the end product! There is something to be said about a consistent, simple, quality menu! The service was great, the bar drinks perfect, and the food was exactly what we needed! The halibut was absolutely worth every penny..and in comparison to other places and what they charge..hell yeah!! The shrimp also cooked perfect and finger licking good! We also enjoyed seeing the owner, that seems like a nice man, work hand in hand with the staff. *Our condolences to the loss of one of there own in the recent fires.

We come to Santa Cruz once a year and Gilda's is a definite yes on one of the places we go to eat. The food and service is great. Tonight's menu beef tri- tip with all the fixings. Yum!

Awesome view and welcoming staff. The fries were some of the best I've had! Complimentary bread and butter before the meal.

Prime rib special is a Santa Cruz locals must. I enjoy the food as much as running into old friends.

Went for breakfast: many options for reasonable prices, the ketchup bottles were a little dirty in the lid and the waiters felt very much in a hurry even though it was only 1/4 full.
