We were craving for dessert and stopped here to get coffee and a sugar rush. They were just about to close but were such gracious hosts and welcomed us. The atmosphere is comfortable and vintage. Brilliant coffee!! Amazing desserts! The service is the best! Friendly conversations, patient and polite waiters, great experience!

We had dinner here and decided to order off the menu because the smorgasbord had been sitting out since lunch and didn't look so good anymore. The meatballs and Wiener Schnitzel were good, but the sides (red cabbage and cucumber salad) were too sweet for our taste. It almost tasted like candy. Great decor and service though.

I personally enjoyed ed the meal I received. I'm sure it's not true Denmark food but a American branch of it. The purple coleslaw was very good. Warning: flavored espresso is thick and super sweet.

You're obviously in Solvang to see the uniqueness of this little Danish look-a-like town, so why not eat at the oldest restaurant there?? Authentic food and a neat atmosphere, you gotta try it!

Ok it is hard for me to eat out and actually enjoy the food. I have been nothing but dissappointed over the past few years with food quality. This was a good place, service was A+. My food and my kids food =A+ (spinach dip, the special: turkey and bacon sandwich and the monte carlo) however my husbands beef sandwich was pretty bad...weird considering everything else was great. The beef was very dry and not really flavored which that was fine because he likes a pure beef taste but it was so dry , i told him he would have been better off making it an open face with gravey. Would i recommend this place ...yes but i would say get what i got, outside of that i can't vouch for, especially considering the prices, very high.
