We were staying about 30 minutes away and decided to pay Solvang a visit since we were close by. The server was pleasant and polite. The place looked simple and quiet, which we didn’t mind at. We were surprised to see our over priced bill though. We had a coffee, 1 iced tea and 2 sodas and 4 meals (2 adults and 2 children). This came to $111 dollars. Then I realized that they include an18% tip with the bill. This was not told to us when we were ordering our food. However, when you sign your bill, it asks for TIP amount. Why? They are already including the tip on the bill. Just be aware that the food is quite overpriced.

Quality of food is low. Salad was only lettuce and fish and fries were over fried, hard as a rock. Food is pre cooked or frozen. Shrimp was not cooked from raw but pre cooked. Food came out fast but not fresh. Only the pea soup tasted good. Service was nice but food was not worth the high price.

AMAZING food and customer service. The lamb shank with okra stew was delicious and fell off the bone and it also catered to my Zabiha needs. The owner was very kind and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back with my family next time I’m in town

Don't do it. Believe me, I never write reviews but you need to know. Just don't go hear. Horrible food and worse prices. It was empty but I didn't take that as a warning. It was like the food was made days ago and just heated up for me. Gross. How you mess up simple things i don't know. Even breakfast home fries. They were just cubed and deep fried like french fries. Aweful. Never refeilled my coffee and even though I was 1 of 2 tables it took me longer to payvthan eat my food.

Should've known better since there was no one in the restaurant, it was almost like they pressure you to go in because they wait outside and usher you to go inside. Upon ordering there was a Couple sitting on the other side of the room and you can hear how disappointed the lady was with her powdered eggs and her 5 day old bacon which she was told was just a bit to "over cooked" As we ordered we were a bit nervous already, and woman she was right about the food! The sausage was over cooked and under seasoned. The meat balls were raw and I mean pink inside which is just unacceptable because it's ground meat. The veggies were all dried out and freezer burned and the gravy was boxed/powdered gravy that KFC gravy will beat any day. My open face seafood sandwich tasted like it has been sitting in the fridge for a few days with no cover and trust me I can taste everything that was in their fridge with that sandwich! It was so bad we just had to leave without even eating anything. We paid $30 for nothing. It was a waste. This is the picture of my husbands danish meatball combo, I on the other hand didn't get to take a picture of the open seafood sandwich for I was so shocked it was that bad that we just had to leave right away.
