This is definitely a lovely restaurant with cozy setting and amazing food. The service is exceptional as well. My friend had food allergies to one of the ingredients in the salad, which was totally not their issue, but not only did they changed the dish, but they also sincerely offered to help us. It was the most pleasant experience I've ever had in any restaurant and I highly recommend this place.

Hummingbird Restaurant!! Love, love, love Harold and his Caribbean food. So talented. Always feel like we are on vacation when we eat here. You will not ever be disappointed! We bring some wine and sit outside and relax!

Horrible experience with this place. They had what they called a special menu with a dinner starting at 5:30 pm. We arrived at 6 and nothing was ready except some chips and snacks. Waiters were passing by with raw fish and uncooked food ... I paid over $100 and then had to wait over 3 months to get reimbursed by my capital 1 card after disputing the charge. We never ate the dinner and they refused to credit me the money. Don't waste your time at this place. It's awful.

The owner, Harold, is very hospitable and he make sure that we are filled with all sorts of good food. The jerk chicken, tenderloin, and gumbo are all perfect! The location is hard to find but definitely worth it!

Seems like all the food stuff from comfortably small menu are prepared by one guy; he is really good at what he does. A salad started with our Jamaican Jerk Chicken was a simple arugula and yellow radish with strawberry vinegrette salad. Simple, crisp, a little earthy bitter, and no lame lettuce. Chicken and rice were really good too. You can serve yourself water from an infuser. This time it was cucumber and lemon grass water. Very refreshing and at no extra cost. Strongly recommend especially if you are trying to get away from the crowds on the main street and other packed eateries.
