The food was pretty yummy. Their fish and chips are great. If you go skip the lobster roll it had very little meat and was mostly just lettuce. It really was nothing special. I was very let down as a lobster roll lover. This was our second time and the second time the waitress never got us refills. As a former waitress to me this is unacceptable. Drinks should always be available. It was not busy in the least there were 2 waitresses and a hostess and may be 5 tables. While the food was amazing the wait staff could use some help. The kids meals are a really good size and much cheaper than most places. 3.49 and free on Tuesdays.

Fantastic breakfast that reminds me of a more homemade version of Cracker barrel. If you like Cracker barrel's theme but want to support local business and friendly employees, check this place out. I've gone several times with friends and family and they've all been impressed

Jon is totally wonderful! He was very responsive and clear, and did an amazing job with our rugs. An added bonus is that his pricing is super reasonable, and he uses all environmentally-friendly supplies! He was also very good with our dog (who's usually very afraid of people using machines). Highly recommend.

Johnny Appleseed Omelet is the only reason I go there. It is fantastic. The staff is friendly, seems pretty clean. Also they give you a big urn of coffee for the table which makes me feel pretty special. It's like "ordering a bottle for the table," and I sit back and think how far I have come in this world to be able to do that.

An excellent gem in the Norwich area for breakfast and lunch! It's a long-running local business operating out of what at one time was a family home many, many years ago. It's been up-kept with its old timey feel, hence the restaurants name. The decor is superb, shelves with old nick-nacks, tables that have very, very old newspapers beneath the lacquer in which you can read out of interest whilst you await being served your order. However, the restaurant staff use modern tablets to take your orders, and man is the food great! I highly recommend looking through the menu and taking your time - and I suggest the apple crisps, they are a wonderful breakfast piece or shareable dessert for you and another diner. Prices are fair and the service is usually quick and served with a smile.
