This morning there was vomit running through their front gate to the public side walk. The smell was putrid and made it very unpleasant to stand at the bus stop immediately out front. Nevertheless the man running a leaf blower and supposedly tidying up ignored the vomit completely and continued to raise dust that made bystanders on the public right of way cough and endure watery eyes. Then, still ignoring the vomit the man with the blower proceeded out on to the street and raised the worst cloud of irritants yet. He demanded that people standing at the public rest stop “get out of his way.” All the bus riders I’m pleased to say politely refused and then leaf blower man threw a temper tantrum. The establishment wasn’t open at the time but the way this man treats the public and doesn’t cleanup after its more important messes is enough to tell me my money is better spent elsewhere.

Your average sandwich and burger menu but good food. Their sweet potato fries are my favorite. A hangout for lots of UF students. Great outdoor seating area! They do have a great special drink for birthdays (just call ahead to get the deal!).

Terrible food. We went after 9:00 at night. Place was quiet and a sparse crowd. Waitress was decent but spilled salad dressing all over my friend's lap and most of the chicken off my salad. She said she would put in to have another chicken breast put on the grill for me and bring him a new salad. She left the partially spilled salad with me to begin eating and the chicken needed to be spilled on the ground. It was dry with no flavor. I was completely finished with my salad by the time she brought out an additional salad for my friend's spilled salad and the new chicken breast for my salad that I had already eaten. None of that should have taken that long when the restaurant was so quiet. She apologized profusely but no compensation was made for the issues. Great location, horrible food, poor customer service!

The food is good but nothing special I had the fish and chips with lemonade. The lemonade was way to sweet but good and homemade. The fish was pretty bland but the fries delicious. My friends had burgers and they were really good. They messed up 2 of our orders and charged us for something they had told us was free. The decoration is authentic and the its a nice place overall.

I had a great time. The salad I had was spectacular! The waitress was very attentive without being intrusive. The special event was handled very well. The guests were treated very well. The attendees had plenty of visibility and could hear very well also. Well done, Swamp staff!
