This was the first restaurant we went to in Marathon because we got there late and it was open later than others, and I'm glad it was. It was delicious. We sat at the bar, which has a dry ice slab so you're drinks stay cold. Good selection of beer. I had one of the local keys beer. It was a honey hibiscus shandy I believe. The food was very good. I had the hog fish sandwich. My husband had the calzone, and our friend had the fish and chips. The music outside wasn't very good which is why we sat at the inside bar.

Service was good. The food was very good. Oysters were fresh and the fish and chips were excellent. The fish was fresh and crispy and no overly breaded. I'm from NJ, where we have a lot of Irish pubs and places that serve fish and chips and the fish and chips I has at overseas was the best I ever had.

We used Marathon as our home base for a trip into the Keys, tried out the Overseas because it looked like a local-type spot not far from the hotel, and liked it so much we went back the next night as well. Fun, laid-back atmosphere and great food. The star of the menu was the pot roast melt, but you can’t really go wrong.

This is a very cool Old Florida pub style sports bar. Very family friendly with great food and service. Just found this gem located next to the Florida Keys Steak and Lobster House one of our goto restaurants. So happy to find another fantastic Marathon eatery. My Fish n Chips was phenomenal while my wife's slow cooked pot roast sandwich was delicious...... Also of note is the very large mixed drink, beer and wine offerings. We will be back.....EC

Great food and staff, I like the daily special on the menu. The gift shop / liquor store was great to have before we left so we could enjoy a drink when we got home.
