Great place for seafood and especially stone crabs when available. Big place but not a lot of parking. All you can eat options, and lots of other seafood selections. Friendly staff and great bar area as well. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Catfish Deweys is a Fort Lauderdale icon. I've been going there for at least 20 years. Seafood is unbelievably fresh. The wait staff is very quick and attentive. I personally had the conch fritters that I thought were, some of the best I ever had. And the Alaskan Queen crabs are very reasonably priced compared to most restaurants

Incredible local restaurant! Didn't know what to really expect, but was more than pleased with the entire experience. The food was simply incredibly delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding. Warning - better make reservations after 5! Highly recommend this place, is obviously where the locals eat.

The food is great. We started with fried mushroom for me and hush puppies for my husband. The mushrooms were fantastic, and my husband said the hush puppies were just as good. My husband had the bone-in cat fish and I had the fillets. The only negative, was the service. Our waitress was MIA most of the time. My husband couldn’t even get a second beer until we were almost done eating.

This is the first time I've had to pay $3 for parking in the strip mall site which was a block away from Catfish Deweys and was told to park on the side of the building on the swell by the attendant collecting the money because the designated parking spaces were all full. The good thing is I get $3 off my next visit. My shrimp gumbo had 3 shrimp with about 8 pieces of sausage and was too salty so we all sent it back. I guess the 3 shrimps made it shrimp gumbo. My baked sweet potato was burned but hot enough to melt the butter. I switched out my wooden chair for a cushioned one for my friends and myself. On a Friday evening about 6:45p, there was a 45 minutes wait for a table. Not the best experience for me and my friends today. I
