My wife and I decided to celebrate our 4th Wedding anniversary and our night was so great! The food was delicious! Everything from the bread they start you off with- all the way to the ending desert! Our waiter Marlon was INCREDIBLE... we had everything we needed and he went out his way to add a special touch to make our anniversary special! Can’t forget that we had our 21 month old toddler with us... couldn’t leave him with our babysitter because he was sick... This place even catered to our needs there with a decent kid menu. We didn’t get to take advantage of it, but they have a play room for kids also. Thank you “Italian Restaurant” we will be back and will bring friends!

I was holding high expectations for this place when I dined there for the first time last night with my family. I love the Breakers hotel, the staff is always very professional, so I was expecting the restaurant to have top notch service as well. The hostess was nice. It seemed like a very slow night at the restaurant since there were many empty tables. I thought we would get a nice experience since the server didn’t really have to juggle between other tables. Just maybe one other table. Our server was a very kind and professional gentleman. He brought out the bottle of wine I had asked for, did the whole pouring of the wine procedures very formally. He then took our food order and then disappeared until the food came out like 15 minuets later. Then asked if the food looked and tasted good just when the plates had touched the table and then he disappeared again. I saw him taking orders from the other table he had and didn’t see him again. The food and the service was subpar. We had some food left over and another server had to come and ask if we needed to go boxes. I thought we would get the food boxed up for us, not like I mind boxing it up myself but at a restaurant that’s at a prestigious hotel, you would expect that at least the server would do that for you. We declined on dessert and then the server brought our check and saw that he had already added a 20% gratuity on the check. I like to leave a generous tip because I know servers have to work for their tip. But our server didn’t really deserve even a 15% tip. He barely interacted with us and we only saw him at our table three times very briefly and that’s it. I guess it makes it easier for a server to barely do anything if they will already incorporate a gratuity on the check. I wouldn’t go back there again.

Surprisingly reasonable priced option at The Breakers. Great food and service, as you'd expect. Kind of loud, especially when filled with families (with young children), but nice ambience nonetheless.

I expected much more from The Breakers and for the price. The quality of the food was very low and not authentic. I can get Caesar salad and very bland chicken picatta anywhere. My husband (who is not a foodie) stated that he like Michaelangelo's frozen chicken picatta much more. Additionally the service was overall good but 20% was added to our bill. I feel that gratuity should not be added on and earned rather than expected.
