Cane for dinner on my birthday. Fist of all, thought I was having dinner on the property. Turns out you have to take a shuttle to go 4 blocks away. Then, we ordered the echo roll, and spider roll only to find out it was cold. Cooked rolls should be warm inside. Not worth the price. Great ambiance but for that it should come with better food. I expected more from "The Breakers"

We come to Echo almost every week and have always had a great experience. The food is wonderful and the amotsohere is fun. However, this time was awful. We had Nick as our waiter and we only got water once. After that I had to walk up to the bar to get another waitress to help us and get refills. I realize it’s a holiday weekend but by the time we sat down it was 9:00 and clearing out. We didn’t even see our waiter and honestly thought he went on break. We want to come back but it’s hard to encourage those with us when we don’t see a waiter and can’t even get water. What is even more frustrating is that we had a party of 6 and therefore he got his tip automatic.

We've not been to Echo in a while and the menu has changed.....and it's even better now than it had been. Tonight was a quiet night so we didn't have the noise issue we sometimes face. Run by the Breakers Echo is a real community asset. We had 6 appetizers that 4 of us shared. They came sequentially and dinner was terrific.

Food was good, fried rice was a bit greasy. The drinks were made well. The servers were impressive. The valet was really awesome. So what’s the problem—- the place is loud. Crazy loud tables are close together, the bar is next to the tables separated by a 1/2 wall you can hear everything in the bar area. They do have. Outside tables which is why we will go back and try again but sit outside and see if that changes the experience. Seriously it is a top place to go just know that it’s not a quite dinning experience.

The very best sushi you can find is in echo. Housed inside The Breakers Hotel, it’s very hard to choose a restaurant with 9 amazing selections . But if you’re in the mood for the more exotic drinks, atmosphere, and unusual sushi , this is the place. Not as pricey as one would expect for a restaurant here - around $30! The salmon rolls and vegetable rolls with sake were breathtaking and I wanted more around an hour later . Don’t miss it over a steak - but do go to the Sunday buffet brunch .
