This restaurant tries very hard: their menu is bland, and they are producing food that sells well, without regard for how bland it tastes--fair enough. My 2 stars is due to their general uncleanliness: they'll often bus piles of dirty dishes and table debris into a horrid cart right next to your table WHILE YOU ARE EATING, with absolutely no clue that that is disgusting and causes loss of appetite. They also have no customer recall: I have to wrangle for the hot sauce they have in the back every time I have eaten here. That just gets old really fast--if they were focusing on their customers, they'd learn that yes, I do want the hot sauce and yes I will be asking for it. I once ordered an item and asked them to modify it, making it much less expensive, but they insisted on charging me the full menu price. They couldn't seem to understand that they could modify their pricing based on how the order was taken. Needless to say, if you drive another 10 or so miles up to Anderson, there are plenty of places that will make you much better food and serve it in a much nicer environment.
