Limited number of tables and seats, so get there early on a weekend morning. The place fills up fast and I was put on a waiting list when I got there at around 9:00am. It was a 15 minute wait and they offer to call your cell phone in case you want to stroll around downtown while you wait. There's no place to wait inside unless you go around the corner to the casual coffee shop extension of their restaurant (Goldy's Corner). I got a seat at the counter and the order process was quick and my food came out quickly despite the crowd. The kitchen staff are very efficient. I built my own 3-egg omelet and ordered mushrooms, spinach, feta, and avocado. I had a side of Goldy's potatoes (red potatoes cooked until hot and crispy) and a pancake. The omelet was fluffy and delicious, potatoes savory and crispy just how I like them, but the pancake was served with powdered sugar. I wasn't a fan of the taste, so I wish they had asked. It's not very customary to put powdered sugar on a pancake.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch spot!!!! They do not do reservations so come early because they get busy fast! Not a huge space either so having a 2 hour wait is not uncommon. Nice that the coffee shop around the corner lets you take your coffee over to the restaurant! Excellent food great service!

A cute little downtown Boise breakfast experience. We took our 17mo on a Sunday morning at 8 and ended up having a 30 minute wait and then waited 30 more minutes for the food after our order was taken. The pancakes took longer for some reason and came out after all of the other food and the waitress didn't check on the table aside from taking our order and bringing the food. If I go back I will probably not take the baby with such a long wait or try to avoid going on the weekend. The food was good though so if you don't mind a wait it's worth the trip :)

Best breakfast in Boise. I love the Eggs Blackstone or Biscuits & Gravy. I typically order both because i can't pick which one i want more, haha. Good coffee too (Dawson Taylor last time, not sure if they change it up). If you plan to visit on a weekend be prepared to show up early to get on the waiting list for a table. This occasionally applies to weekdays as well.

We came in 20 min before they closed (I know, we were *those* people), and they were so accommodating and friendly. The food was seriously the best breakfast food I've ever had, and if you don't try a chocolate chip pancake, you're doing it wrong. Thanks for being so amazing, Goldy's!
