Location is a parking lot so outside seating not very appealing. The interior of the restaurant was cute. Each of us in the party (3) ordered something different and found the food awful. I personally ordered the individual cheese pizza and a side salad with their homemade ranch dressing. The dressing tasted like blue cheese, not remotely close to ranch. When I mentioned this to my server I was assured it was their homemade ranch...NOT. The pizza tasted terrible, it was akin to cardboard with some type of cheese and little to no sauce. Expensive for the poor food quality. None of the 3 of us will be returning here...

The food, drinks, and staff are incredible! I call Grit: The Bittercreek of the West. The pizza is great, burgers are excellent, appetizers are amazing, and the 'Grit Dip' is to die for!!! I often leave a restaurant and think, "The food was good." When I leave Grit, I think, "Wow. The food was awesome!" I'm thoroughly impressed by this restaurant and I highly suggest giving it a try if you've never been there!

Every thing we had was amazing and I a self proclaimed food snob. The lemon drop with 44 north huckleberry is a 10 out of 10. Give grit a try, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Update, came again today 3/2/18 for dinner and had the Salmon tacos. They were amazing, so good I ate them all before I remembered to take a picture of them. We also had the chocolate bread pudding. We have been here before and they were out of it so this was our first time trying it. I can see why they run out. DELICIOUS, not over the top chocolate.

I have visited Grit twice now and both times have left 110% satisfied with my decision to dine there. I would highly recommend checking Grit out! Contemporary, fresh, affordable and very tasty are my top descriptors for this hidden-gem!

Best fried chicken in Boise by far! Pretty much can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is awesome and friendly. Their beer and wine selection is always great and they have a creative and tasty cocktail menu that changes with the season. Can't say enough great things about this place!
