It's an overall decent place. Both times I've gone, I had been treated nicely by both the staff and the food. The atmosphere is quite laid back, but not unprofessional. El Cortez could be a pretty good multi-purpose place, usable for semi-formal and informal events, or perhaps just getting a quick bite to eat. Speaking of quick, I was a bit surprised with how fast most of the food came out. When I was there on Saturday, they were quite packed. That did not stop them from getting my food to me in under 10 minutes or so.

I like this Mexican restaurant the food is always good I like to try different things your food is always hot and made the way that you want it I don't ever have a complaint I refer people to come to this location sometimes you have a little weight which is not bad and I like the fact that they apologize for having you waiting not like at some other restaurants and I offer you something to drink while you waiting for your food

Food is always excellent, friendly service, clean, and authentic Mexican food. Prices are very reasonable. It's one of our go to's for Mexican food.

They have horrible service, I called to place a alder over the phone in they placed me on hold for 7 mins. When they came back they basically hung up on me.so I decided to just go inside to place my order in I ordered 6chicken tacos all corn shell,I wanted two only chicken in they had chicken n tomato’s on it I asked for them to be replaced in the waiter told me that the chicken and tomatoes already comes pre mixed. They didn’t want to give me a refund because the manager wasn’t there until my boy friend came in and went off . NEVER AGAIN WILL I.
